You can not park in any residential area. There will be places like Hunts Point in the Bronx or Greenpoint in Brooklyn where you can park, but 4 days will be difficult, if not impossible due to street cleaning rules.
I'm not familiar with places to park in Jersey, but there are places in Pennsylvania you can park if you're willing to make the 2 hour commute.
Try the Petro in Bordentown, NJ.
Tullo Truck stop in Kearny, NJ (paid parking). Not many spots open, usually, but if you want to have a guaranteed spot, they offer long-term parking.
Petro in Bordentown that Scott mentioned would probably be your surest bet. During the day, usually has plenty of spots open. It fills up at night pretty quickly, especially before weekends.

Hey all,
Anybody live in or near NYC know where tractor trailers are allowed to park for a drivers time off (4 days). I wouldn’t mind knowing places in New Jersey either. Hopefully somewhere reliable, but please do share.
