Anne & Tom, I asked about you two a bit ago because you were conspicuous by your absence. I was trying to learn Anneglish as a second language and you interrupted my education.

Glad you have communication again. I have U.S. Cellular phone service and also an IPad with it’s own line and I can post from either device. Would something like that work for you? Of course, I can’t use that system to get a computer online, so you still need a ISP if I’m not mistaken.

Anne, you often can get a Starlink system much faster than you think, but Starlink will keep showing some far off date until you make a $99 deposit. Some people have used Starlink and later had cable run into their able and sell their systems on eBay and service can be transferred. May be worth looking into if other options don't work out. My speeds aren't as fast as they were when I started last February but still much faster than I need, usually 25-60 mbps download with low latency, we stream shows and movies without any issues. I have some outages of a few seconds sometimes and once for about 15 minutes, nothing to cry about.

I'll share details about our recent trip to Portugal with a compilation video that contains a few hundred photos and videos when you can actually watch it, LOL. We loved our second visit to Madeira, temperatures ranged from 65-75 last week and we may buy a second home there. We've traveled a lot and I don't think I've enjoyed any trip as much as this one.

Anne, upon further thought, I actually did run my desktop computer off my personal hotspot from my phone, no internet provider needed. Again, I don’t know if this would work for you, but just might.

Bumping this thread up to see if anyone knows what’s going on with Anne. It seems strange not to see her posts.
