Any of you guys read A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin? I started those books about 8 years ago and I usually read a couple other books whenever I get to the (current)end of he series then just start over at book 1. Also I like to read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand at least once every couple years. It may offend some of the politically liberal folks but should still be required reading for anyone in the transportation industry.

Required reading and truck drivers ? Lol that's a funny notion. You mean since we have tons of hours of open road that we might try to educate ourselves through audio books? How dare you suggest that we do something that might help us or at least open our minds to other possible ways of thinking.
You sir are way to forward thinking for a truck driver and must be hunted down.
Now that I have expressed the general attitude of most drivers in the industry I will say I love audio books. They make the miles pass by and I might accidently learn something a long the way. And I listen to alot of podcast ,which are all free on the Sound Cloud app, and there are many many subjects to listen to.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit and The Chronicles of Narnia are my favorite books as well. Love them.
Not necessarily in the same category, but equally as entertaining are the Harry Potter series. J.K. Rowling has a truly gifted imagination.
