Michael, good idea. I’ll look into that, but I suspect Kansas will be the same as Texas. Thanks for the suggestion.

The final result of this is that my citation was reduced by 1 mph to 14 over. So I can keep my job.

It cost me $900 in attorney fees and the municipal fine was $161.

Expensive lesson. Watch those speed limit signs, small towns can be tricky.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
