Your, "psssh" may vary but based on your description it sounds like a release valve releasing air once the air tanks are at full pressure. This is normal.
They are air system pressure tank farts.

I'm in trucking school right now and this is what out training tractor does. Makes that sound every few minutes.
Then again our tractor is all ****ed up so it probably shouldn't do that.

My neighbor is a o/o and has 3 trucks. He started up one of his trucks and it has been sitting here idling for 20 minutes. I noticed it makes a "psssh" sound every 2 to 3 minutes.
