I think all the Petro's have had them for years. When you are going out the rear door towards the truck parking they are near the tv room, movie room and lounge areas.
One other thing to take into consideration is learning bodyweight exercises, such as calisthenics. Early in my career I am using my time waiting at shippers or consignees to find a safe area outside of the truck to do push-ups, free squats, or even incline or decline push-ups against the tractor.
Gyms are nice don’t get me wrong, but if you use your body as your gym, you never have any excuse not to do some fitness work every day. The average lifespan of a truck driver is supposedly 61 years. Every day if one is not moving and getting their blood flowing, chances are the average trucker is on that path for lifespan.
The customer the freight is being delivered to. Also referred to as "the receiver". The shipper is the customer that is shipping the goods, the consignee is the customer receiving the goods.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
