Dalla, I think you can install a quick connect on the supply air system. I’m going to be at our shop tomorrow and I will ask one of the mechanics. Will let you know.
Depending on what application you're going for, Yes is 2 ways. 1 is in-cab blower, to clean out the dirt from the cab, available at most, if not all truck stops for like $20 ...................Or to air up tires on your tractor, or trailer, you use a glad hand connector with a long 60+ foot air hose....No need to tap into the air tank lines, creating a leak point at some point. And probably against company policy, IF you're a company driver

Stev-O-Reno is correct. I asked my shop and they said it is possible to incorporate a quick connect fitting in the air line system, but they don’t allow it on company trucks. They recommend what Stevo said, the gladhand after market air hose that charges off the red gladhand. Connect it to the red side on the trailer, pop your red dash button and it charges up the hose. I hope that is correct info. I carry such an air hose with me but have yet to use it. If you want to, you can fit that hose with a quick connect fitting and inflate tires, use an air blower attachment, etc
Straight trucks normally won't have glad hands for a trailer.
Since there are no gladhands on a straight truck my dad says to drain the tranks, remove a drain plug and screw in a female fitting.

I still have not solved my CB problem, but I have new question. Does anyone know if there is an option to hook up a quick connect air hose to the air tanks on a straight truck? I did not see any access, but just thought I'd ask the more experienced.
