I am headed west on I-80, currently stopped at the Flying J in La Salle, IL for 7-9 more hours. I haven't met anyone here yet, so it would be nice to shake a hand and say hi.

I'm being stalked! good-luck.gif

Hey Ryan, I'd enjoy meeting you, but it's probably going to be a challenge. I have a tight schedule with an 0400 Tuesday appointment here in Muscatine, and a stop in Cherokee. Then it's a race for De Smet, SD.

No worries. Perhaps another time, in another place. I ended up sleeping much longer than I planned, but it seems I needed the rest.

I always wonder of I'm going to run across OS at one our terminals, but I have a feeling he frequents them even less than I do, I'm rarely at them except for an occasional T call and I'm in and out as soon as possible. I don't frequent east coast too much. Normally I used to run TX a lot, but this past winer I was exclusively west coast mountains.

Hopefully I'll catch a glimpse of him one day.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I almost roped him by pure happenstance. He wasn't trying to hear it. 😉

I've had dinner with OS quite a few times. Its not that hard to lure him. You just gotta put good bait on the hook. He likes steak, and jokes, lots and lots of jokes. Don't give up guys!
