I hear there is a new CDL skills and driving test I was wonder what it is

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

So I heard also there is a checklist they give you when you do the pre trip inspection as like a guide to help with it

Do you mean the new High Road Training on this site?

Nobody wants to fail, but it's a reality of life. It happens. The only thing that matters is learning from your mistakes and trying again. Trust the people teaching you and follow their lead, you'll be fine.
