This is not trucking-related. I just figured a little trivia might be a good way to help a driver relax and relieve some of the mental stress of the job by focusing on something else while taking a break.

A local radio station is asking callers to name an actor who has played two major roles on separate TV shows during his/her career. An actor playing the same role on 2 different shows (ie, Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers and Frasier) would not count.

They are giving a prize to whoever comes up with the actor who they think played the 2 most memorable characters. Of course there will be no prize here, but see who you can come up with anyway. Please limit your response to one actor...whoever you think is the best.

Thats a tough one! There have been so many over the years.

Doubt this is who they are looking for but… My vote is for Tim Allen. Home Improvement and Last Man Standing. Love those shows, still watch em.

Bruce Campbell for sure! Although he has starred in or did cameos and regular appearances on well over 40 television shows, I'll stick with the rules and only mention two of them.

He played Sam Axe on "Burn Notice" and Ash Williams on "Ash vs Evil Dead".

Not to even mention the countless movies that he has been in.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Ron Howard and Ted Danson are good ones. Danson was also in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

How about Mary Tyler Moore?

**** Van **** Show and MTM show, two classics.

Here’s a trucking related trivia question. What are the first (real life) names of Old School and G-Town?

RD, this is a fun thread. Are you providing prizes for the winner? Lol
