6 for me on the runs to Providence. About 280 miles there and 280 back. With traffic its a 10-11 hour drive.

PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI

Do you have stops in all those states, or just passing through? I do a trip that has me bumping six docks in four states, in about ten hours. Starting and finishing at our Newark yard, I visit Jersey City NJ, Stamford CT, Springfield MA, back to Stamford, White Plains NY, and Jersey City again.

Usually just passing through, but it's not unusual to have to stop at any building a long the way. I've had to stop in Wayne, Newark, Hartford, Northboro and probably a few others on occasion.

That blows my mind. Your ELD doesn't track that?

No, our city driver app only gives you total milage at the end of the manifest and only if you have a stop outside PA. If all miles are in PA, you have to tally your miles on the paper manifest. If I have only PA and MD stops, thats all it will ask for. I’ll have to keep track and add the DE miles I traveled to get to and from MD

Manifest:

Bill of Lading

An accurate record of everything being shipped on a truck, often times used as a checklist during unloading.

Well, did 5 states today. But it's pretty easy when you cross over West Virginia and Maryland borders to pick up an easy one. MI, OH, PA, MD, and WV.

I thought about this thread the other day as I started out in Connecticut and ran through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, briefly into Maryland and West Virginia and ending my shift in Virginia. So 7 is my record. Our stopping point was on 77S at exit 1 so another mile I would've been into North Carolina!

Yesterday I started in MA and I went through CT, NY, PA, MD, WV, And ended up in Virginia. Not that many miles, 607, but when I started out I was about 5 miles from the NH state line. If I knew I’d hit that many states, I would have detoured to NH.just for fun. Got 7 states, could have been 8. Lots of road construction along the way. 2 big delays caused by accidents. In WV, a semi had turned over on the driver’s side at a place where there were 3 lanes. It was completely blocking all 3 lanes, the traffic was backed up many miles. I was glad I was going in the opposite direction.
