Some companies already offer that incentive. CFI comes immediately to mind (unless I'm mistaken).
It is a very nice benefit. I can't say it would be a major selling point for me. However, it would definitely help sweeten the pot.

I am a 40 year transportation vet. I have seen driver recruiting go through phases of providing incentives that include: sign on bonuses, truck preferences, weatherband / sattelite radio, APUs , refrigerators in the cab, satellite tv. Will provide paid parking be the next incentive? If a fleet offered paid parking would it make you more likely to drive for them? I am a technology developer and we believe brokers and fleets need to take care of drivers and will help with parking. APU:
Auxiliary Power Unit
On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.
Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.
