Wishing you a complete and rapid recovery, BK. The Beloved is working her way to having one, possibly both done. Steve, thanks for the pain med guidance, will keep that in mind when the time comes.

I'm going to second what Steve L. said about staying ahead of the pain & doing the PT. My BIL tried to "tough it out" by not taking the pain meds as prescribed, then it hurt too much to do the PT work, and as a result, he had a much harder time recovering. Follow the Drs. orders!

Best wishes BK for your surgery and recovery.

4 to 6 weeks seems fast compared to the 3 months of recovery and PT for my bicep tendon repair last year.

As others have said, don’t cheat on the PT. Also don’t rush it just to meet some arbitrary schedule.
