Hey Jerry! I was in the same boat not long ago. I just recently started CDL training with Prime, and I'm learning that you get out what you put in. I imagine it's like that with most companies.
I go out in the morning ready and eager to learn. I know I'll make mistakes. I'm new to this. The instructors do what they do because they are good at it. They want you to succeed. I bombarded my instructor with questions today, and he loved it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's okay, and normal, to be nervous. Just go in with a healthy attitude. Get ready to mess up. Be willing to learn from your mistakes and listen to the critiques of your teachers.
And don't hesitate to poke this forum for advice in general. There's a bunch of great folks here.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
I been sitting here nervously waiting to go and take my CDL permit test and get started with my training patiently waiting to go and get my dot physical done as well I have high blood pressure and have been taking meds to control it just needs some positive thoughts on it to keep my self from going crazy while waiting.im brand new to all this and this will be my first time behind the wheel of a bigger truck
If you're on the meds you should be alright and as for being nervous you aren't alone. Just pay attention and do what the instructors tell you to do, you'll be fine.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
