I think the objection of hiring from certain locations is being able to route your truck to your "home" area for time off . . . if they ain't going there, how can they route YOU there??
That's exactly right. So just keep in mind that when you say you live at an address that's different from your home address, that's the address you're going to be sent to for home time. They're not going to send you to your actual home. Now if the two aren't too far apart or you can make arrangements to get home, then you're fine. But for instance, if you say you live in Atlanta to get on with a company that doesn't hire out of Florida but you actually live in Jacksonville, you're never going to see Jacksonville unless you can get yourself there and back from Atlanta.

" I have a Nevada license and I use my best friend's address for same (long story - former employer wanted it that way) and so I qualified - just had to make changes to my app. So there are creative ways around all obstacles . . . I think the objection of hiring from certain locations is being able to route your truck to your "home" area for time off . . . if they ain't going there, how can they route YOU there?? Anyway, you'll work it out - I got faith!
