What if your tickets are not for speeding , but driving while license is suspended. I was told by one recruiter that their company does not count those against my driving record. Only to have my welcome packet and ticket purchased. Then informed by another recruiter that they do count and I would be disqualified with their company. I have 6 points on my driving record I was told and they only allow 4 points. I will not speak of the company to protect anonymity. Are there any companies that will qualify me for sponsorship with 6 points?
Because different states have a different points system for tickets - it's "usually" not going to be about the POINTS, but the severity, number and length of time since the citations.
I've had two accidents in the last 5 years - I was NOT AT FAULT for either of them, wasn't cited, they were not in a CMV - no problems.
I've had my CDL for almost 7 years now - and came to realize, if I ever want to USE IT - then I need to PROTECT IT.
