If you are referring to California and you were speeding, that's WAY CHEAP . . . there is also a 70% excise placed on ALL local fines - the fine amount goes to the county/town of issue, and the excise goes to the State of California (shared with the CHP) and so a total of $274 is really a bargain, you lucked out big time . . .

Now, how will your insurance react?? Good question . . . there's always traffic school online to keep it from your insurance carrior (but not the DMV) . . .

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

Cdl holders don't get the option of traffic school.

Knowing California, it would probably be in the state of California, and that would NOT be an option, even if it were.
