OHHHHH . . . THAT def - looks like water . . . yea, I knew that . . . meant to say that, in fact . . .

I haven't had a lot of experience with the ProStar, but International 9300s and 9900s were a darn good truck to beat the heck out of in the oil field. We called 'em the "Thirteen Letter S**t Spreaders", after the old IHC manure wagons. Lol!
The Freightshakers are good road trucks. Guy was right on with giving them an edge with storage and cabin space. A definite plus when you live in the darn thing.
You have three fuel tanks on the truck for diesel.
2 are diesel fuel tanks.
And the other is a DEF fuel tank.
DEF is basically an added fuel to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides from the exhaust system. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). It looks just like water.
DEF also is liquid fertilizer. It's Urea. It's 100% pure liquid fertilizer without all the other additives we add in to help feed the lawns.
Who knew have being a manager for a top Fortune 500 company that I would be able to relate it to the trucking industry. I was a field manger for 7 years for Service Masters which is the parent company of TruGreen ChemLawn.

I've been around him for awhile now, he's gotten so "interesting" that I tend to stay away from him due to fear for my life.

As was said in the movie "The Fly" "Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid."
I have met a few people from.here over the years. I met the now missing TruckerMike. I have met Steve and Angie which started at Conway and are still there doing very well as of last Facebook update. And they are still around. TruckerMike is not really missing. He is just off doing his own thing. Almost stopped at the Pembroke NY Flying J a few times but I doubt Brett would like a wake up call at 2 am in the morning.
Would like to meet more people from TT but running team loads leaves little time for idle chit chat. Really am completely harmless except on the days that end in "Y".
Guy, you are officially my hero. Sci-fi quotes. Doesn't get much better than that. I can only hope I get a chance to rub elbows w/ you once I'm on the road.
I work for large KW dealership who has lots of both. I have never been too fond of the Prostar but we just took a bunch of Evolutions in. I really like how they drive. I was surprised as I was more used to Freightliners older Columbia's and Centuries. I would take a Cascadia or Evolution any day over a Prostar. Prostar's are really cheap, but the Freightliner just feels like a more solid built truck.
