Congratulations! That's an impressive and ultra-rare Tri-fecta.
Wow, man. That is incredible!
I jumped around a lot early in my career. I wanted to try everything, and I did. Once I found my niche, I learned the value of staying with one company and developing a close group of people around you. It made a huge difference in my career.
That's why I always try to convince people to stick with a company for at least one year. I didn't understand the value in that until I experienced it.
I know you've talked about that a ton over the years, Old School. To have the level of familiarity you have with the people you interact with and the job itself is a massive benefit to you. I hope it lasts another 10 years!
Congratulations!! That is a very impressive feat!!
Do they get you a decal for your drivers door?
Congratulations!
How long did that take to accomplish?
Congrats sir!!! That is a very rare occurance!!!
Way to go, Old School! That's really amazing!
Do they get you a decal for your drivers door?
Yes, they also let you pick which brand truck you want and which color. Part of the million miler package is your choice of a new truck, and a very generous 5K bonus.
How long did that take to accomplish?
Almost exact to the date it took 8 years and 3 months.
For those really smart detective types in here it technically took 9 years and 3 months. That includes the one year sabbatical I had to take when I was going through all those eye surgeries. Knight kept me listed as an employee all during that time... so I didn't loose my status and seniority. They have really treated me special. I have no reasons to look elsewhere.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Congrats on your first million miles with Knight!!
Enjoy the perks. You deserve them!

One million miles with the same company, the same dispatcher , and all on the same account. Whew! That was a big goal, but it's accomplished now.
Onward to my second million miles on this account!
Dispatcher:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
