When I dealt with it the company had certain trailers that were issued yearly certificates. Kosher washes are few and far between.
I'm curious, what's the difference between a regular wash and a kosher wash? Do they use Holy Water or something for the Kosher wash? lol
Thanks very much. I am getting mixed advice. Some non-certified stations say they can do a kosher wash. Wondering if bogus kosher was tickets is a thing.
Ha! Not holy water but you're not that far off. The can't use recycled water...
Is this for a tanker wash or a reefer or ? I've never heard of this and I'm curious. For our tankers we have organic and non-organic sanitizer but that's all.
A refrigerated trailer.
I suppose it would apply to reefers but in our case it is tankers. Transport of food grade chemicals. Does the shop you are talking about offer kosher tickets?

Yeah, this is a completely new concept to me. I always thought Kosher things were blessed by a Rabbi. Interesting.
As far as Holy Water, it’s just regular water that they boil the hell out of.
That is part of it. The wash I never really knew what the difference is, but the kosher certificate has to have the Rabbi’s information on it.
Speaking of "Holy Water", here in the Phil's being a heavy Catholic country, they use and believe in a lot of natural remedies for lots of illness. My girlfriend sometimes takes 1 or 2 of those 5 gal sparklets type bottles to a native "Healer" to have the water filled & blessed.
We do use it a LOT, and I can say it does seem to work/help (I'm not superstitious, or religious lol) There's a tree here, they shave some bark off of, and boil it to drink for colds n fevers etc (kids) And many other "remedies" since not everyone here has the $$ to see doctors, even though to us, medical here is dirt cheap

All,
Has anyone encountered an issue accessing a certified kosher wash service? It seems the options are limited, especially on the west coast. Is obtaining a kosher ticket from a non-certified wash stations a viable option? Do they have the capacity to perform the service? Thanks in advance for your input.
