Pianoman, let me say in all sincerity that of all the people I know, you are one of them. And that’s from the heart, man.
You guys and gals are a community to me, also. Pianoman recently connected me with Davy on the phone and it was a fun and interesting conversation. Both of these guys are smart, well spoken and articulate. The conversations really help pass the time while the brain numbing miles go by.
And I might add that Pianoman recently moved to the east coast where he purchased his dream home on a secluded piece of wilderness. Another truck driver success story!
It's really rewarding to be able to have conversations and chew up the miles. Pianoman and I talk frequently. Bruce, I'll have to grab your number. Awesome conversation. I really appreciate the fact that we all continue to learn from each other and push each other to strive for better.
And Pianoman, I've never for one minute considered you to be a Richard to anyone here. Offending people with posts is usually my job.

This post is pretty similar to the one Davy made a few weeks ago but I’m too lazy to go find it lol. I just was spending a little time browsing the forum this morning and it just kinda struck me that this is part of my community here on TT and I’m proud to be part of it. Especially being OTR again now, it can be hard to feel like you’re part of anything. I look on here and I see a community of professionals pushing each other to be the best they can be and keeping each other accountable. Like Davy said in his thread I too owe much of my success to Brett and the mods and regular contributors on here. Over time I’ve even built some friendships from this forum. I have yet to meet Davy or Bruce but we talk on the phone regularly. I know we don’t always get along 100% of the time but I just wanted to give a shout out to my trucking truth family and say I appreciate y’all. P.S. sorry I’m a *ick sometimes 😂
Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down and be safe!
Btw if anyone on here needs peeps to talk to while driving, I have my email in my bio and I’m always down to shoot the **** over the phone or give advice or answer questions whenever needed.
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
