Chris, you can keep your home base in Nevada and work for a company in another state unless they don’t hire from Nevada. If a company doesn’t have any routes to Nevada, they may not hire you because they can’t get you back for hometime.
You can move with your CDL to any state you choose and transfer the license to that state. Some states are easier than others. Some drivers choose a state with no income tax, like Texas. I changed my address and CDL to South Dakota for that reason.

Just to reiterate what BK stated, I got my Kentucky CDL from an Indiana school while living in Kentucky, and have since then worked for a company in Indiana, Kansas, and will start working for a Tennessee company in two days. The only issue I’ve run into is filing my taxes (I got rejected lol but this is quite common for Louisvillians working in Southern Indiana)

I am currently in Las Vegas I am also currently enrolled in truck driving school. When I complete and get my CDL am I stuck having to find a job in Nevada or can I move to a different state with my CDL and find a job there?
