Every state is different. And, many of the procedures for each school is different. You may want to try and ask this question in the main forum. A lot of people don't see this post in this area. As for your question, I really don't have an answer because it was very different for me.
It will be considerably cheaper to get your dot med at prime and then transfer it over to your state. As for whether wash will let you do that is another question. Many states will allow you to transfer your dot met card but by all means check 1st

As far as starting in May you need to get with your recruiter as there are various background checks they need to do before accepting you and you need to make sure you have a your paperwork in order. If you don't you could end up out of school before you get started. Don't know about Stevens as I went through prime. Very fast paced and you really should be prepared to take your CDL before you go. I highly suggest the high road training program they have here. The school will not go over any CDL material. That's strictly on you and best to be prepared ahead of time

Im looking at Prime and Stevens. I am a female I really don't care about my trainer being a male or female as long as they train me. Im looking for an information on both schools. I would be leaving on May 3rd which is roght around the corner. I live in WA and was told by both they would get me my permit there since WA wants to do a dot physical here. Any info or help would be great.
