As President Trump likes to say about EVs “They don’t go far”
I would like to take that thing for a spin just for the sake of doing it and learning first hand what it can and cannot do. Why not!!
As far as the electric stuff being pushed so hard. I agree it is mostly to line some elite’s pockets with gov’t funds, IE OUR tax dollars. The gov’t will always use fear of something to hide the real agenda. I read an article a couple weeks ago the current administration has approved a 1 billion dollar program to some startup regarding the electric vehicle stuff. The CEO is the former CEO that started Solindra undee the Obama terms. Solindra took the gov’t for 100’s of millions before going bankrupt so now Biden wants to trust him with a Billion.
Electric and hydrogen both can share space in our vehicle systems for certain purposes. This one size fits all approach has to stop.
FedEx has them in California. The ones I've seen pictures of are in the San Bernardino building. I'm curious about them too.

This whole, decades long crap on "Go green" and pollution, global warming is just that total BS !!
Went away from paper sacks @ grocery stores for plastic? Really? and now the plastic bags are even thicker, to "save & reuse" pffft also will take eons to rot away in the landfills. California's emissions laws, also were just another way for elites to get even richer. The smog situation isn't any better than it was 50 years ago. Take a ride up the back way to Big Bear, over San Bernardino, the thick orange tinted smog has just moved farther eastward. Took a cruise that way on my motorcycle with my UPS buddy, used to pull off "look out" spot to stretch our legs. The blanket of smog was heavy sitting over the area below.
We won't run out of oil supplies in a millenium or more, more hype and BS. And gasoline/diesel vehicles won't be replaced with EV's as the majority anytime soon. "Most" people couldn't afford to buy 1, the prices for gasoline vehicles is thru the roof as it is !......I've NEVER owned a new car, nor ever wanted to be locked into a loan payment, full coverage insurance etc. I've always bought used stuff and with cash, if I don't have the cash, I save it or do without whatever it is.
My best buds wife used to get mad at me because I work around the system...And she is by the book legal on like car insurance, taxes etc haha....And they are saddled with debt and overhead. $2000 mortgage, 6-7 vehicles, some not used, but licensed, full coverage insurance and so on. He is nearing retirement age, but I doubt he can
I preferred living as a renter, and debt free, where I could pick up and go where ever, without being tied down to material crap. Even got into a more minimal lifestyle, sold off my cars, truck, cycle 10 years ago.....Less is more, and wayyyy less stress living for material crap.
