God bless him if he wants to do this at 90!

Taking a risk though at that age of sudden heart attack while driving.

God Bless this young man!!!!

I have known a few in their late 70’s gettin it done.

Very different perspective he has from many much younger drivers. It’s that generational thing!!

Our company has one driver who is 82 years old.

I wonder how old the oldest female driver is? Our own national treasure, Laura, is either 73 or almost 73.

Driving is actually a great job for an older person in many respects. Sure beats saying “Welcome to Walmart” all day.

You are too funny Bruce. I will be 73 on July 26th.

One of my last trips for Versatile, I was in Portland and talked with an Ashley driver and he was 84 years old, pulling a dry van with four axles!

Yeah, I can't see myself doing a Walmart job even though I like talking with people. That would drive me nuts. Also, a Walmart job wouldn't pay your $9,000 dental bill. You need to have teeth like mine where you don't have to worry about them 😉🤣

Laura

Dry Van:

A trailer or truck that that requires no special attention, such as refrigeration, that hauls regular palletted, boxed, or floor-loaded freight. The most common type of trailer in trucking.
