Hey Victor good too hear from you.
Off the top of my head Bennett, Kivi, and ATS do alot of heavy haul along with other flat/stepdeck stuff. They may bring people along moving up. Be a good starting point in looking.
Glad your doing well. We always love hearing folks doing well!!
A stepdeck , also referred to as "dropdeck", is a type of flatbed trailer that has one built in step to the deck to provide the capabilities of loading higher dimensional freight on the lower deck.
Kivi is a new one I had not heard of, I will try them. I'm planning on also applying to Rowe Equipment as well.

Hello Victor - it's great seeing you are still in the industry! I hope you are well.
You might want to check into Lone Star Transportation. Here's a link to their web site.
Thank you Mr. OldSchool, yes they wanted me to go to another company to get another 7 months of recent open deck experience. I definitely like Lonestar Transportation though. How have you been? Still doing flatbed?

I'm doing well. Yes, I'm still doing flatbed. I just recently reached one million miles with the same company, same dispatcher , and the same dedicated account.
That is awesome Mr. OldSchool you are the man! Great work and safe miles.😊. Congrats!

Does anyone know how to use the Ask Jimmy feature? I'm confused as to how I can appropriate it's intended use?

Normally you just type in your question and you get an answer. I haven't used it in a while so I typed in three questions one at a time but got no answer to any of the three. It blinked and return to an empty question box.
It could be Brett is working on it or it's possible he doesn't know that there is an issue.
How do we make contact with Brett?

Hey yall been VERY LONG time since coming on here. So, I now have 3.5 years of experience; throughout the 3.5 years I have open deck, bulk tank, dry van , and reefer experience. It has been a ride and now on June 6, 2024 I will have 2 years with my current company and I am grateful for that consistency. I am only local and I want to move on to what has been my goal since day one to get to heavy haul and specialized transport. NOT because of money only, but precisely because of the adventure, experience, and the ability to move such amazing equipment. So with that are there any body on here that knows of good heavy haul and specialized companies a new to heavy haul driver could go work for to gain experience in heavy haul?
Thank you for your help! I know you all are great veterans of the road! Also how's Brett doing? Old School? Kearsy? I'm trying to remember names on Here. Thanks again!
Dry Van:
