I think I need to be up front on honest that I’m not interested in this floating position, if they can follow through with the original job offer; I’m a 100% committed. Not to mention it doesn’t seem like they over hired seeing a temp worker in my seat.

I agree. Have a proffesdional conversation and let them know you are all in for the original position, otherwise I would be looking at my old job.

They may have solid reasons doing this, but then they may be trying to save money. The temp worker is undoubtly cheaper and they have you on a cheaper rate on the other account.

Things have been crazy and I think by now every company is looking to save whatever they can. But my opinion being underhanded about it tells me I wouldn’t work there.
