Do not ever leave out work history because it will be found on a background check and it makes you look like a liar or you have something to hide.

Since you left Western Express on good terms, I would go back there and see if they will take you back and then put in a year or more with them. In this economy, you can't afford to be choosy and you need to get the preventable and non preventable further away from your current time.

One of our older drivers, Old School, started at Western Express after he got many, many turn downs from other training companies. He stayed with them for a few years and did very well. He got a better offer at another company and has been with that company the rest of his career time. There's nothing wrong with Western Express and you should try to get back on with them.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Well as tow truck driver, I can do that & the only background check they ever do is a criminal background. As long as my driving record is clean (which it is) & I am not an insurance liability, no one will ever know what I've done. The last company I worked for as a AAA roadside service provider never knew of any of the companies I had actually worked for & I left out several of them.

But towing for an OPG or AAA contract stations isn't something I wanted to go back to & just get away from altogether.

Well, if the OPG (official police garage impound) doesn't give me a call or a follow up on the medium / heavy duty towing (I returned an application along with my DMV record today), I will probably just reach out to western express. I honestly did not leave them on bad terms, I just needed a little bit of time to really think it through.

I have nothing negative to say about them or even cr england for that matter. I was just uncertain if by having minimal experience & those strikes against me would severely impact any chance I might still have. And I'd figured I'd ask, some of the best advice I got while driving where from experienced drivers which help improve my weak points.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

OOS:
