Hi Paul. Yes, Western Express. I gave them a call I had explained to you that technically, Western Express really hadn't turned me down. Just a lapse in communication from the original recruiter.

Now, I had mentioned about jinxing myself. This is where you tell me that Western Express just went out of business...right?

Fingers crossed man. Looks like all good signs to me.

Just to clarify though, your offer is with Western Express right?

Just turned on the TV.....

"I'm **** Groggerman and this is the Financial News. In a surprise move, mega corporation; Jinx Malloinks; just bought out Western Xpress trucking company."

"At the press briefing after the buy-out, CEO and President of Jinx Mallionks; Ima Scammer; said, "We're not interested in trucking at all. We're going to layoff all of the employees, sell all of the tractors and trailers. We're then going to take all of the money generated and put it towards the study of the single most important issue facing all of humanity. The research and development of a brand new sport. Competitive Underwater Basketweaving. It's literally what the whole world has been holding their breath for."

"In other news, Boeing has just bought out Smithfield Pork Products. In a statement from Boeing, "Now, officially, pigs can fly."

Lol I was just asking because you kept saying US Xpress and I was pretty sure it was Western Express 😂

Hi Paul. Yes, I had kept mixing the 2 up. It is Western Express and I had received a call from Joshua; the recruiter; yesterday and he said that he finished the paperwork up, gave it to the hiring manager and I was approved. Unfortunately, he did remind me that they can not effectively hire me until the plastic copy of my CDL-A license comes in. So, I'm still waiting on that. Ugh!

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hey James, any news on your plastic copy of your license? I saw one of your other threads yesterday and only just saw this one, so it looks like things might be going better than it looked like they were going from that one. I hope you have good news soon. I'm rootin for you!
