Hello everyone 2 year company. Started with a 2023 Gatormade 35ft gooseneck hotshot flatbed. Recently purchased a 2020 Freightliner tractor and I need to sale the 35ft flatbed to go towards a 53ft flatbed for my tractor. Posted the 35ft on a trailer site but didn't get any hits. Also posted on Facebook but only got spam. Has anyone else been in this situation or have any advice? I need to get this trailer sold to put towards purchasing a flatbed for my tractor. Currently leasing out my tractor and driver in a power only situation in and the money is close to what we were making with the hotshot flatbed so I have to get a flatbed for my tractor and get back to running under my MC.

Thank you to everyone for all your helpful responses.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

WW2, this web site focuses on new & rookie drivers, not so much for owner operators. That's why you hear crickets.

Good luck elsewhere.

Owner Operator:

An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.

ok, haven't said anything, but I do feel a bit sorry for you, so I will offer what little advice I can on this topic. if it isn't selling, then check your price and your market. it likely isn't selling because you are asking more for it than a private seller can reasonably expect to get for it. that or you are just not marketing it to the correct people. the price is probably the more likely option in this economy, but it could even be both. depending on how much you are asking, it might be a good idea to drop the price by anywhere from a few hundred to a thousand or more. As someone who has sold a few trailers online, that is usually the case. I would go to a dealership and see what they would buy the trailer from you for, that usually gives you a pretty good idea of what to ask for the trailer. I hope this helps.

This is a very bad economy to be selling equipment. Put it on FB market place and hope you get interest. Depending where you buy a flatbed, ask if they will take it as a tradein.
