I had a set of those for about 2 years before they wouldn't hold a charge well. My issue was that while in the truck, they were OK. Outside, I had issues because they don't block out background noise and I could barely hear through them. Some of that issue is tinitis I'd imagine but I've talked to other people who had a similar issue.
I just returned from my orientation/training for the month with Knight, and I was using my Apple buds…but I decided I wanted to try something new and I picked up the same ones you have. LOVE them! Takes a bit to get used to, but I really dig how lightweight they are and that can hear other things going on around you. I head out as a solo driver this week and will let everyone know how they are in the “real world”

Hey everyone. I just got a bone conduction headset today and they are fantastic. The music quality is amazing compared to the JBL portable speaker I’ve been using in my truck. They automatically switch from music to phone calls, have a really good microphone and since they are bone conduction, don’t block out sounds a driver needs to hear. Very comfortable to wear so far, although I haven’t used them for 11 hours at one time yet.
The manufacturer is Shokz. Model OpenComm2. $159.95 before tax on Amazon and they come in colors to make them easier to find in the truck. I thought I’d post this in case anyone is considering purchasing a good driving headset. I was always skeptical about the bone conduction aspect, but now I’m a true believer.
