Sphincter pucker is a real thing. And those routes will do it
Hi Turtle. Yeah, I know now...lol.
I think I aged my driver trainer Robert at least a good 5 years...lol.

I’ve only run through WV on I64 and I’m always glad to exit the state. People who live there must be half mountain goat. It is beautiful, tho. Any hint of ice or snow and I’m going to park and wait.
Ha-ha! I went through WV while with my trainer too. It was near the University.
Taking some of those tight curves while trying to keep the tandems on the road or on the right side of the center lines was quite the experience for a new driver.
You should get achievement badges while training just for making it through unscathed on some roads!
A set of axles spaced close together, legally defined as more than 40 and less than 96 inches apart by the USDOT. Drivers tend to refer to the tandem axles on their trailer as just "tandems". You might hear a driver say, "I'm 400 pounds overweight on my tandems", referring to his trailer tandems, not his tractor tandems. Tractor tandems are generally just referred to as "drives" which is short for "drive axles".

I remember once delivering a heavy load of plywood in West Virginia. The guy on the forklift said something like, "We knew you were coming our way a few minutes ago." Of course, I wanted to know how he knew that. His response was, "We heard your Jake's screaming all the way down the mountain!"

Hey all. Everything has been going great. Putting a lot of miles down. The last 2 days were.....interesting, to say the least. Went through West Virginia and back...twice. I can't remember the exact routes, but there was 30 and 33. Oh my. I had no idea my sphincter could tighten up that much. If you've been on 30 and 33, I'm sure you know what I mean. It was definitely a learning experience.
I guess that's all for now. It's past 2am and I'm beat.
Everyone drive safely and I'll TTYL 👋
TWIC:
Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
