What are some sites owner operators go to to get loads. These are drivers that don’t work for a company or like Mercer or landstar

Owner Operator:

An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.

The two biggest are DAT and Truckstop. These are subscrption sites. Several brokers have their own load boards you get access too after signing up to haul for them, like CH Robinson, Mercer, Landstar etc. They all have their own glitches and are usually aggravating.

The last year or so many shippers are putting loads out to several different brokers so you may see 10 listings for the same load.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
