Gosh, doing great, other than the biggest scheduling goof I ever made occurred this last week.

I was planning a route that allowed for some tolls in one state but not allow tolls in another state. To accomplish that, I created a waypoint to head towards that would allow for a rather direct path to my destination without tolls, or at least very little tolls. That was all looking good.

The next morning, as I was going down the road, I noticed that the arrival time predicted by the gps was not looking at the destination, but rather, the waypoint. Doh! I quickly called dispatch after discovering this error and explained that I'll be 2.5 hrs late.

I’ve been off the road for a week on vacation. Did a ton of firewood and finished building our expanded chicken run.

Did take time for some mini golf with mini Zen Jokeress :)

Been busy in the fuel hauling game. Anyone who wants to work their 70 can. Been picking up the extra hours while the weather’s nice to pay for some home upgrades. Propane season is starting, we picked up some nice contracts, so it’s going to be a good winter. Not to mention we got a really nice new union contract a few months ago, and I’m driving a ‘23 tractor and a ‘22 trailer and don’t even have to slip seat. Literally nothing to complain about. The family’s healthy and happy.

Try I80 through Joliet IL. I have never seen such a rough stretch of road. I spent the last year or more driving it almost every day.

Hope your procedure helps Bobcat.

Thanks! so far no change :(

The return to driving however has served me a 💩 sandwich sideways nearly every day. All I can say is potholes can go eat a rather large bag of Richards 🤬

Been through Indiana lately? I swear driving through the corn fields would be smoother

Siting at the house recovering from a Pulmonary Embolism. Dr says I can return to work next week. Other then that, cleaning up storm damage and downed trees from Helene.

Hopefully the procedure goes well Bob. I'm thriving at Hummer. Turned out to be a really great fit. Excellent money, great staff and culture. No nanny state equipment on the truck. Reliable home time. Just a win all the way around.
