What kind of preventables are we talking here? That will have a great bearing on who will hire you.

First one i turned a corner and hit a pole, second i hit a low bridge. I'm looking with no luck. I just need to be guided to a company that will hire me. If anybody knows of one, please let me know

What were you doing for those 24 years you referred to? Being in the industry can be very different from having 24 years driving experience.

How many years driving experience in tractor trailers are we talking about? I'm trying to figure out the whole picture here. It's hard to help when it feels like we are missing something.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

There is a difference between 24 years of experience, and repeating your rookie year 24 times.

The low bridge may just have killed your career. It's def not going to be easy, as you are finding out in the current freight market. Be prepared to hear a whole lot of NO.
