ok so I need some massive help guys ...little back ground ... For the past 5 years I had a really bad criminal mindset ..in and out of jail and prison ...no job history because of that ...recently I changed my life for the better ...put myself through trucking school at Midwest technical institute in Springfield Missouri ...got all my criminal past sorted out and thought maybe I can make a future for myself and my family ...I graduated and received my class A CDL ....but not one company will mess with me because of my lack of verifiable work history....what do I do!? Just went into debt 3,500 for school and no one will hire me ...am I looking or doing something wrong ??

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
