It is with a hevay heart I announce the passing of our long time contributor, Anne. For many years and 5500 posts she went out of her way to help others. She cared for Tom with all her heart. And she tried her best to contribute and research despite having never been a driver.

My condolences go out to Tom and their family. She will be forever missed on this forum.

I just found out about this yesterday myself. How sad! Anne was really something. She helped out quite a bit behind the scenes here and loved being part of the community.

Very sad news!

Anne was special. She did a lot for this community. She will be missed by many of us.

Thanks Kearsey, for letting us know.

I very seldom give out my phone number. Anne somehow found it online, and would call me occasionally. Usually it was because she was concerned about some conversation going on in the forum. She always thought I could magically straighten something out with a few keystrokes on my computer.

She treated me like I was a superhero. I never understood why she thought I was so capable. She was a charming lady. I'll miss her.

Thanks Kearsey,

Her daughter Jamie posted on FB on Weds and I talked with Tom for almost 3 hrs that night. It was hard to comprehend what he told me. What was harder is that I talked with Anne the day before she passed and she had just seen the doctor and was excited to look into going to driving school. Sorry I didn't post this when I found out, but am dealing with severe depression because I can't get a job and now not having Anne to talk with.

WOW ! Just WOW ! I have wondered about her quite often, once she quit posting much. I too like OS talked to her many times, she'd call me or vice versus, many times. She was a very cool lady and funny, I figured she just got busy with LIFE doing other things. Last time we talked was days before I was flying out of the U.S.

A very sad day of news for sure, and I've missed our chats and will always miss those and never forget her spirit and what she did here helping out !! Rest in Peace dearest Annie, you will be missed definitely by many!

Wow, that is extremely unfortunate. She always seemed like she genuinely cared about helping people. I was always impressed how she'd come up with the most random companies, when someone was struggling to find employment.

So sorry to hear this. Her encouragement and kind words helped so many of us. Heartbreaking.

Thanks for letting us know. So sad.

She was a very special lady. She had my number and we talked often years ago. We kind of had a connection through the tanker world. Her investigative skills were very impressive. I often told her I wished I had her as a detective when I was on the job.

The past couple years we had lost touch but I always wondered how she was doing. My prayers to Tom and the kiddo’s.
