Suspensions And Getting Hired

I was recommended to look into CR England. I saw that they said that you can’t have any suspensions. I know they said no suspensions whatsoever but my suspensions are very low to no risk suspensions.

I wanted to see if someone could tell me if my situation could possibly be discussed and not outright turned down. I have 2 suspensions, one for not having insurance during an accident that I was found not at fault. I was just borrowing my brothers truck for a day and someone happened to try and beat me through a light. They were turning left across my lane of traffic where I was going straight at a green.

The other suspension was when I went to renew my plates I was $1 short that I figured overdraft would cover. It didnt and my license got suspended until I could pay the fee for it not going through.

Hi. The problem is not what the suspensions are for. The problem is that trucking companies need you to be responsible enough to ensure their loads are delivered. If your license is suspended again while you are in their truck with a load, they will have a problem. It is also an insurance coverage issue. Insurance companies are cracking down. They won't care about the why... they will care about potential loss. 2 suspensions looks like bad judgement or irresponsibility.

I know they said no suspensions whatsoever but my suspensions are very low to no risk suspensions.

So now you want to argue with company policies because what you did was no big deal. It is to them which is why they said no suspensions. They didnt say no suspensions unless you think they are minor issues and no risk.

Right now companies can be picky. I went 37 years of driving without having a ticket or suspension. 10 of that is with a CDL. So having 2 in how long? Looks bad. Sorry, but it is the truth.

All we can do is tell you to apply everywhere and hopefully someone will take you. If they do, take the job and stay at least a year to prove yourself, regardless of the pay. You won't find a higher paying company most likely until you have an established year.

Try western express. Good luck
