May 2024, I took family leave to take care of my wife after knee replacement surgery.

I decided that I was going to retire instead of going back. My company doesn’t even resemble the company I started with six years ago.

It was time to hang it up.

Thanks to everyone for the help I’ve received here and hopefully I’ve helped others.

Congratulations sir!

Hopefully your wife can handle having a grumpy old man around all the time. I know we always enjoyed having you in our conversations here. I'll bet your wife will be thrilled to have more husband and less money. smile.gif

Grumpy I hope your wife is doing well.

Congrats on retiring, it can be a great job, lol. I started trucking after retiring the 1st time. I needed something constructive to do. The past year I have slowed way down and the wife loves having me home alot more.

Hopefully your wife gets used to having you home more. Stay active with something Sir!!

Enjoy retirement and hang out around here somedancing-dog.gif
