About three weeks ago had a trip going from Dallas TX to a little town just outside St George Ut. I was excited cause when I looked my route up on the GPS I would be going deep into country I had yet to go through. The trip started out normal enough then got interesting. From Dallas to Flagstaff was normal. Done that a million times. Then I turn north on US 89 from Flagstaff. Went about 161 miles of 89 and it was closed to road work so got routed on us 89 alternate. Basically a really cool small two lane road that is one of the scenic routes for the Grand Canyon. Basic the northern rim as the geo tag of these picture will verify. These pictures will so the diversity of the climates of North Arizona and southern Utha.

Part of the route that is in the pictures..... 1396833684.3684.jpg

Should not have posted Falling Rock sign!!!! Should have been Falling House sign as some of those rocks THAT WERE ON THE EDGE OF THejE ROAD were as big as house that had feel from the top of a nearby canon wall......

Car stuck behind Prime truck on a steep mountain grade

Poor four wheeler. He got stuck behind a truck on a mountain grade. It was a Prime step deck.

Car stuck behind Prime truck on a steep mountain grade

Yep he is still stuck behind Prime due to the steepness of the grade and the sharp curves. Some were 10 to 15 mph curves and you actually got to read the writing on the side of the truck without leaning out the window....

Prime truck going up a steep mountain grade

Four wheeler finally got tired of hanging out with us. As you can see our trucks barely fit in between the lines. About 9 foot wide lanes at the most.

Prime truck going downhill in the snowy mountains

At this point was on the down hill side and coming out of the snow. By this point Prime said screw this and pulled over. I did not take a picture at the pass cause it was simply to dangerous. White out conditions to about 50 foot in front of the truck.....

Really beautiful country and really enjoyed myself on that trip.

I had my fill of the Grand Canyon on the 22 miles of downgrades, 10 ft lanes and jersey walls on 15 in Arizona. It was probably beautiful but since I was watching my trailer the whole way thru it......

I assume you mean us 15 somewhere in Arizona? Or do ya mean I15 In which are I am lost. Did not realize I 15 was anywhere near the Grand Cayon.

I don't think it's technically the Grand Canyon since the middle of it is I 15 and not the Colorado river. Although the road is barely wide enough for a canoe.

You are talking about the Virgin River Gorge. It is in the NW corner of AZ along I15. Beautiful ride through there.

Yep that would be the Virgin River Gorge. Not sure if it connects to the Grand Canyon or not but yea it's pretty narrow in there.

Now to just track you down. I am a moron when it comes to anything that plugs in. I cant even turn the stupid tv on at home my 6/7 yr olds have too. It used to work fine then one day I keyed up and cant talk on it now with out a loud beep blocking me out. No amount of adjusting the mic/power will work. Im at a loss. I would take it to cb shop but if I get it out I aint getting it back in.
