Now to just track you down. I am a moron when it comes to anything that plugs in. I cant even turn the stupid tv on at home my 6/7 yr olds have too. It used to work fine then one day I keyed up and cant talk on it now with out a loud beep blocking me out. No amount of adjusting the mic/power will work. Im at a loss. I would take it to cb shop but if I get it out I aint getting it back in.

A cb shop can take it out for you. No worry there. Only loud beeps on a radio would be a Roger Beep at the end of a transmission. Not during it. What kind of radio is it? Make sure all the connections are tight that are connected to the radio. Mainly mic and antenna. If those are tight check the connection on the antenna end of the coaxe. Make sure the radio is not on PA. If it has one make sure the Roger Beep is turned off. Usually labeled as RB or R.B. Sure it's a beep instead of a loud squeal? Even a solid tone type squeal can sound like a beep. But sounds more like interference that is being caused by the radio if it's happening during transmission. The two cb shops I use and trust is the one across from Iowa 80 truckstop. That is Walcott CB. Only open 8 am to 5pm. They also have a website. The other one is at exit 163 on I 40 in Tennessee across the highway from the loves. Open 24 hours a day. Both have truck parking.

If you are in those areas I would say stop in and say hi. Both shops are knowledgeable.

But for any cb system I highly recommend it be totally separate from the factory installed cb setup that comes with the truck.
