I would also like to know if the ingredient 'xathine' is a no-no for drug tests.
Since there is no official list of drugs that are no no or ok you will have to call up a dot certified doctor and ask them. The yes or no to a type of drug is not the drug itself. It's the classification that the drug is in that makes the difference.

I take levothyroxine (synthoroid) for hypothyroidism and I got my cdl no problem. When you go for your medical physical just make sure to write down all medication you currently take, the dosage, the doctor's name that prescribed the meds and if possible the date of diagnosis for said illness.

- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Me too . . . there was NO hint of a problem with this medication. Make sure you DO NOT take any meds with a narcotic ingredient for at least 30 days before you go to school . . .

Can you get your cdl and or pass a dot physical taking thyroid medication. Is there a list of approved meds tried to google it did not get anywhere hope someone knows from experience on this site
