That is correct. No more getting a dot from the friend that happens to be a doctor or a GP. If they want to get the dot physical they will have to test every year for it now.

Just saw on the news, That there are new stricter medical regulations going into effect as of May 21st don't know what they are just yet, looking for links with info, but they were passed a while back but are just now being implemented. This goes for ANY CDL holder, regardless of type of CDL. Maybe someone can find some more info on it.
