I wish trucking companies would use these more - just for the looks! Yeah, I know, probably not as cost effective, obviously there's a reason why they're not being used. One could only wish. I definitely prefer the older style of trucks! At least it's good to see that some manufacturer out there is still paying homage to the traditional style.

I agree. i love the older trucks before all the arodynamics. one modern truck i think looks really cool though is the international lonestar. really stylish truck in my opinion.

Indeed - those are awesome! Smith Transport in PA has at least one of those, I've seen it on the road near my house. It's what's on TT's website too!

Bill, when I woke up at a little truck stop in Brownfield, TX this morning there were two of these Coronados parked beside me.

That's awesome! Would love to see pics of the real deal, not just photos from the website!

I started to get you a photo, but these were dirty from hauling oil field equipment, they didn't quite have that glamorous appeal like the advertising photos do.

Old School , Are you insinuating that life of a professional OTR trucker is not glamorous !

Wait until that news gets out huh . The horror .

On the topic of tractors , I still see the occasional Cab over in northern NH ...if you want to consider 3 or 4 times in a year occasional and not rare.

Those things are apparently kidney killers .

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Lone stars also have a Harley Davidson edition too. That Coronado looks a lot like a Freightliner Classic too. Wonder if they are one and the same?

When it comes to how a truck looks though, I'm with the TMC guys. I just can't resist a shiny black Peter.nullshocked.png
