Enrico, that will need to be answered by the personnel at your DMV office. I saw a man in Texas ask them if he could re-take the test immediately after he failed it and they sent him right back over to the computer and set him up with another test which he promptly passed. I don't know if that is a common practice or not, but in any case it shouldn't take a lengthy time period. Most places will want to charge you again after multiple failures though.
