Wanting it bad enough is the only way you're going to make it here. Over crowding is a major problem here. I have managed to learn parallel parking and did pretty good. Drove again today and I finally got my brain to realize I'm driving a truck. I down shifted with very little problems. A major accomplishment seeing as the first time I couldn't do it at all.

I'm the proud owner of my CDL. Now getting ready to test for a job with Celadon.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Guessing you had no issues with the hair test? Also I read a mixed bag of strange reviews of Celadon's training center. How over crowded was it?
