When I was thinking about changing to JB Hunt, I had talked with GuyJax about his experience with them. He had told me that he was on a dedicated account with them for Georgia Pacific (GP). He even gave me the name of the Fleet Manager (FM) that he was assigned to.
So last week I contacted said FM. I was contacted by the Account Manager (AM) for GP today. After about 10 minute or so phone interview, she told me she would be getting in touch with my OTR FM to make arrangements for my transfer to the GP account.
Yea for me.
So it just goes to show, if you do your job, good things come from it.

Or maybe who ya know?
They seem to keep the dedicated accounts to themselves and you have to depend on word of mouth to learn about them.
Althena or something like it's I believe her name was. That will be the last time you will talk to her. I only talked to her the one time.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
