Nice looking truck. But you really should have fought to get Pinkle.
Hello Gratz on the new truck. I was wondering how is flatbed with prime. I have been accepted by prime just don't know what I want to drive yet. So if you can give me any insight on it I would much obliged.
Guyjax I barely avoided getting a pink truck. There were only 3 company flatbed drivers getting trucks today and one of them got a pink one. I really dodged a bullet. Plus the pink truck had to go strait into the shop for repairs.
Jeremiah this is my first flatbed job I've had so I can't really compare other companies. But I really enjoy the job, I would say tarping is the most physical part of the job. One thing about Prime is that you have to pay for all the equipment so I owe Prime over $3000 to be taken out of my check in weekly payments. Keep in mind you will get dirty and work in the hot weather or pouring rain, so far I'm happy with my decision.
I'll be rolling out tomorrow on my first solo flatbed load for Prime. It's a 2015 with only 14000 miles. The truck is ready I loaded all my flatbed gear in it and am just waiting for my fridge to get installed tomorrow. I already have a load going to Iowa sitting the yard.
Good Luck Dude just take it easy and be safe
Nice looking truck, man! Congrats!

Gratz on the truck and make sure you post a little diary of your first solo run.
So I been just sitting at Prime waiting on my 3:00 appointment to get my fridge installed, I'm also having them install my CB and a TV mount. I've spent way to much money in the company store and already cleaned all my windows wiped down the dash and organized everything I brought on the truck so far. I even got all my laundry done and washed my sleeping bag so there's no funk on it from my trainers truck. I'm anxious to get rolling.
Just spending the day chillin in my new ride!
That's awesome, really nice truck. Be safe
