If TSB is driving, and I'm in the sleeper...I sleep like the blessed. But at home...I have to take drugs...and most the time they don't work. Maybe I need to buy one of those cheesy motel beds that you put quarters into make them vibrate. Oh wait...only old crusty drivers know about those......
They are over rated Starman. They make you loose concentration at the worse possible time...... Oh wait we are talking about sleep huh?
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
So I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on getting to sleep before you're ready?
Try Valerian Root from a health food store. Don't buy the kind that's too commercialized like that from a name pharmacy or walmart. It's an ancient remedy. You can look it up on drugdigest.com. You'll need a well-sealed plastic container to store the tea bags in because they smell like really bad socks. The weird thing is, the tea doesn't taste like it smells but it is very um "herbal." I think it's also used to calm anxiety. The only problem with melatonin is that you can develop a tolerance to it so you might end up needing a little more and more, over time.
Like melatonin, Valerian Root will put you out without any kind of sleep aid "hangover" once you wake up. It's danged effective and you'll be sleeping within 30 minutes.
Also, don't try to fall asleep while playing on your computer, phone, or any device that has an led light. The light shuts off the natural melatonin that's stimulated through your eyes when there is darkness, that tells your natural melatonin to kick in and let you fall asleep. With the led light in your eyes, your brain thinks it's still time to be awake.
Good luck!

Reading. Man, I love to read but I rarely last 10 minutes. Anytime I want to take a quick nap or get to sleep quickly I grab my book. Next thing I know I'm waking up again.
This is great! Thanks everyone. Now I have things to try at least. Hopefully one of things work for me.
You want the good stuff, Yogi is a great tea.
Hey, there's no arguing with the Yogi thing because, "He's smarter than the average bear . . . " Get it? Yogi . . . smarter?? Sorry about that . . .
