Bump. Has anyone else been bringing their bike along? I know it's winter for most of you, but I'm in Florida so that doesn't compute.

My partner is interested in biking during free time. Would it be a bad idea to strap two bikes back there? Bungies AND chains, mind you. Thanks for the info, Daniel B.

I did that once and if you stack them (so that one is sticking out farther than the other) you'll break the crankarm and pedal off when you make your first turn. They have to be mounted vertically so as not to protrude. Maybe drill some hooks in up top to mount the second one higher? We just carried one inside the cab and one on the back since it was a temporary situation.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Is it just me, or I'd the pictures in the op disappear?

Thanks, Daniel Sage. Side by side vertically sounds like a great solution.

I wish I'd bring my mountain bike, but doubt that I'll ever have time. I'll probably want/need to sleep and rest when I'm stopped. :(

I'm considering a career in trucking possible living the lifestyle and health is an issue; so just one question. Where would someone store a bike? Just curious.
